Just an update on my leak situation on my new DK 35.

I have never posted on this board before so I will bring you up to date.

I purchased a DK 35 package from O'Bryans about a month ago. Upon delivery the cylinder rod on the loader blew a seal. They fixed the cylinder rod but the loader continued to leak.

They sent a guy out again last Friday and he it appears they finally fixed the leaky loader. But,to my dismay, I went to get on the tractor Sunday and a new pool of fluid appeared directly under the mid-pto. Apparently, I got one of the first tractors with the new fluid adjustment valve which controls the rate of hydraulic fluid to the implements. (The knob is located directly beneath you when sitting.)

O'Bryans is sending someone out this Friday to try to fix it. I love the tractor but these leaks are very disheartening. The guys at O'Bryans, however, have been excellent in their response. I know that companys should stand behind their products, at O'Bryans they actually do. I am sure they are hoping as much as I am that this time, the problems will be corrected.

I will let you know.

Leak Update:

O'Bryans delivered a brand new tractor today to replace my "old" one (only had 18 hours on it). In addition, the new tractor has the creeper option which the tractor I got originally didn't. Hopefully this one does not leak.

I also want to thank both John and Paul @ O'Bryans. Yeah, it sucked the DK 35 leaked, but this situation would have been 100 times worse if these guys had not stood by their product. It is somewhat rare today to find someone who keeps their promises, the guys at O'Bryans really came thru. If your thinking about getting a new tractor, look at Kioti before you buy. The DK 35 tractor is an awesome performer.

I am not mechanically inclined (CPA by trade) and live about 250 miles from O'Bryans. Before I bought the tractor, I talked to Paul O'Bryan and explained to him my concerns about any potential mechanical problems and my inexperience (as well as intimidation) towards mechanical issues. He said don't worry, we'll take care of you. I can tell you from experience, he has. Any tractor can have problems, it is the dealer who makes the difference. I am glad I went with Kioti and O'Bryans. ....

TN - glad everything is working out for you. One missing point - where are you and where are they? Might be obvious, but I missed it. Anyway, good luck w/ the new new tractor. ....
